“After leaving school, I originally wanted to study teaching for children with special needs. However, due to the long waiting lists for those programmes, I decided to spend a year in New Zealand. While there, I was fascinated by the country’s progress in renewable technologies, so I decided to study Renewable Energy Engineering. I came across ASAP at a networking fair. At first, I was sceptical about whether I’d be able to apply what I was learning in the automotive space. Ultimately, though, I was convinced. I wrote my Bachelor’s thesis on building a test bench for electric motors – and the first e-motor test bench at ASAP is still in use to this day. After graduating, I was taken on as a Development Engineer. Thanks to the rapid growth of our team, I was appointed Team Coordinator in the HV Lab and was admitted to the Talent Programme. In 2016, I became part of the Test and Validation Centre’s management team, responsible for the HV Lab. I’ve been a member of the senior management team for eDrive activities at the Test and Validation Centre since early 2023.
