“After leaving school, I wanted to become financially independent quickly, so I looked for an exciting apprenticeship. Inspired by a friend who had completed an apprenticeship at ASAP to become a technical product designer, I decided to choose the same path. I was impressed by the relaxed atmosphere in the interview, so I started my apprenticeship in technical product design in September 2022. I had already completed my higher education entrance qualification – the Abitur – so I was able to shorten my apprenticeship.

I particularly enjoyed a project during my internship to wire an electric motor for a test bench. The project gave me lots of freedom and opportunities to learn, and it’s great to see that my work is now being used on the test bench. After my apprenticeship, I plan to stay at ASAP and work on wire harnesses, specifically on cable routing and design, and also train to become a technician.”

“I’m current a working student in HR Administration and Development. My activities include everyday, short-term activities and contributing to long-term projects. I particularly value the pleasant, professional working climate and the mutual support in our team. My colleagues on my team are always willing to assist when I have questions or I’m not clear on something; my managers trust me and give me freedom to carry out my duties.

At the moment, I’m working on additional elements for our benefits offering. It’s a wide-ranging, complex topic, so developing and designing a concept is an engaging challenge. My aim is to write my Bachelor’s thesis at ASAP and then continue working in HR at ASAP after graduation.”
